MAMA’S CORN CASSEROLE

8 oz. cream cheese
1 stick oleo
Soften these and cream together.

Add
1 can cream corn
1 can whole kernel corn – drain off most of the liquid…needs “some”
1 can green chilies
1 box Jiffy cornbread mix

Bake in greased casserole - 350 degrees for 30 minutes, or until set and golden brown on top. …( More time required if using a deep casserole…or have other things in the oven …or if too much liquid left in drained corn….sometimes I leave too much – just cook it a little longer…needs to be golden brown on top)
