We recently enjoyed two wine flights at Benvenutti's in downtown Norman recently. We particulary liked an '05 Sonoma Pinot Noir "La Crema" and a 2006 South Australian shiraz Mollyduker "The Boxer."

Our friend Sheryl introduced us to Liberty School Cabernet Sauvignon. We like it with everything!

Another favorite is the buttery Toadhollow Chardonnay.

Cowboy Bloody Marys can be made with or without the vodka, by the glass or pitcher.

Our favorite "made up" beverage is a concoction created by the OETA crew. Called "squat on the rocks" (don't ask why) this drink of pineapple juice, lime juice, and vodka and champagne is one that sneaks up on you, so be careful. It's a varation of a flirtini with a special newsroom kick.

My friend Charles brought us a bottle of Rudy's Holy Water one year for Christmas then gladly shared the recipe. While I haven't made it, I recommend it!
