2/3 c shortening + 2 T
2/3 c sugar
1 c mashed potatoes
1 c scalded milk
2 eggs
2 pkg yeast
1/2 warm water
1 t salt
5 c flour

Soften yeast in 1/2 c warm water. Place scalded milk in large mixing bowl. Add shortening, sugar and potatoes. Mix thoroughly. Add eggs. Mix thoroughly. Add yeast and stir in flour mixed with salt.

Work enough flour into dough until smooth. Knead. Cover and let rise until double. Punch down dough. Pinch dough into three equal size pieces to fill greased muffin tin. Let rise until double. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes.
